About Lotus Notes® and Domino®
Lotus Notes® is state-of-the-art e-mail, calendaring, group scheduling, Web access and information management application -- all integrated in an easy-to-use and customizable environment. The Domino® Server Family is an integrated messaging and Web application software platform for companies that need to improve customer responsiveness and streamline business processes.
PEPCO
For the Potomac Electric Company (PEPCO), ISSI has designed, developed and continues to support a number of applications for the Engineering division. One Lotus Notes® application manages internal engineering specifications by enabling selected PEPCO employees to create engineering specifications and, using workflow, distribute them via e-mail for review and supervisor approval. Approved engineering specifications are stored in the system for easy reference.
UNISYS
For UNISYS at the Goddard Space Flight Center of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), ISSI designed, developed and continues to support the Project Management 2000 (PM2000). PM2000 provides life cycle project management support, including planning, scheduling and tracking. Integrated with both MS SQL Server and mainframe applications, PM2000 provides a seamless, comprehensive solution for UNISYS.
GSA
For the General Services Administration (GSA), ISSI redesigned, developed and continues to enhance a varied set of Lotus Notes systems. For the Office of Management Services, Lotus Notes® systems actively used throughout the agency include the Personnel Information Database, the Forms Database, Parking Permit Tracking, Directives Database and Vacancy Database. For the Office of Information Infrastructure and Support, Notes systems with nationwide agency users include TREK Procurement, GSA Financial and Customer Survey, and the Correspondence Control Database. ISSI is designing Domino server based systems for conference registration and document dissemination using the Internet.
USIA
For the United States Information Agency (USIA), ISSI has designed and developed several Lotus Notes® applications, in addition to redesigning, enhancing and otherwise supporting a wide range of administrative systems. For the Domestic Technology Division, such Notes systems include the Reference Database, the Post Reporting Database and the USIA Speakers Rolodex.
The Liaison Office's Reporting Information System (LORIS) enables USIA staff to search and retrieve grant, visa and anecdotal data into standard reports distributed to Congress and the public. The application includes agents that automatically gather information from a variety of sources and store it in an Oracle® database.
US Coast Guard
ISSI provides Lotus Notes system administration support for the National Pollution Funds Center (NPFC) of the U.S. Coast Guard. This includes monitoring system performance, implementing configuration changes and migrating servers to the Windows NT operating system.
