Machine wash your underwear on cold to keep them in tip-top shape. The standard cold wash is 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit (15C - 27C). If you're hand-washing, the water should feel close to room temperature.
Yep! Washing our leak-absorbing underwear with your other laundry is perfectly hygienic, and your other clothes will be fine. Washing machines will dilute the contents almost immediately, and your other clothes will not stain if you're washing on cold.
Drying times may be affected by humidity levels and the airflow of the space you hang them in. Under non-humid conditions, moderate absorbency styles typically dry within 10-12 hours and super absorbency styles typically dry within 19 hours.
Don't panic — a few cycles in the dryer probably won't hurt period-absorbing underwear. However, repeated exposure to the heat from dryers or irons will affect the underwear's elasticity, which helps prevent leaks, so don't make it a habit!

We made some pretty exciting updates! Our newest Thinx Teens styles feature our all-day leakproof absorbency for up to 12 hours of protection! Thinx Teens absorbent underwear styles are the same silhouettes you know and love, with a different name, improved gusset design, LeakSafe™ barrier, and outstanding product fit.
Thinx and Thinx Teens are washable, reusable period underwear. Our newest styles absorb up to 12 regular tampons for all-day leakproof protection for up to 12 hours. Each pair is moisture-wicking, ultra-absorbent, and leak-resistant.
Our teen period underwear is available in standard youth sizing to fit younger bodies and in full-coverage styles to support first and early periods. Thinx adult line is available in sizes up to 4X and in various underwear styles to meet your preferences.Thinx Teens™ is period-absorbing underwear designed for teen body shapes and sizes with narrower gusset and thigh dimensions. We designed Thinx underwear for periods for adult bodies (people who have already finished puberty), made with taller, curvier adult bodies in mind.
Use our handy size chart to toggle between the brands to find the best underwear size. We recommend following the hip measurement, as most underwear styles sit on the hips. Be sure to measure the hips at their widest point, derriere included!Our undies are machine washable, reusable, and absorbent — there’s *a lot* of science and development goes into making them and ensuring they last. Thinx Teens can be used for up to 30 washes, unlike single-use products.

All underwear in the Thinx family of brands has been certified based on the rigorous chemical safety requirements of the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® [20.HUS.04850 | HOHENSTEIN HTTI] since 2020 and now complies with the even more stringent OEKO-TEX® 100 Class II, Annexure IV, which includes meeting the requirements for Europe’s Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) [20.HUS.04850 | HOHENSTEIN HTTI]. Thinx underwear is not made with PFAS.
We also test our finished products through an accredited, globally recognized third-party laboratory to help ensure they are compliant with all laws and regulations. These tests also include absorbency capacity, usability, and wearability.
Thinx is a member of the Apparel and Footwear International RSL Management Group (AFIRM) and aligns with the AFIRM restricted substances list (RSL) for suppliers of raw materials. We also require suppliers of our raw materials to sign a Supplier Code of Conduct and Chemical Supplier Agreement confirming compliance to the AFIRM RSL including the AFIRM restrictions on PFAS.
