Thinx underwear for periods is designed in a range of absorbencies, from lightest to super, to support every stage of your flow. Every pair of Thinx period-absorbing underwear features our signature, innovative built-in technology — a moisture-wicking top layer, an absorbent core layer, and an outermost leak-resistant barrier. Our absorbency levels range from lightest (1 regular tampon worth of flow) to Super (5 regular tampons worth of flow), so there is a style for every day of your cycle. We recommend trying Thinx period-absorbing underwear for the first time at home so you can see how they best work for your ~flow~. If you feel damp or notice your flow spreading to the seams, it may be time to change into a new pair. We recommend starting with 3-5 undies, so you’ll be covered for your entire cycle without doing extra laundry. We offer Saver Sets and discounts when you buy 3+ pairs so you can build your collection and get more for less $$$.

We measure our underwear for periods by absorbency, with our highest absorbency styles holding up to 5 tampons worth of flow. For some customers, they will last the whole day, and others may need to carry an extra pair of Thinx period underwear as a backup. If you feel damp or notice your flow spreading to the seams, that is an indicator you should change into a fresh pair. We suggest bringing along a resealable bag, pouch, or wet bag — so that if you do need to change out of your first pair of Thinx undies, you've got a place to put them.
