2018: The Year in Review Photo

by Team Thinx | 12/31/2018

Thinx Inc. had a jam-packed 12 months!

29 new team members joined us. Our underwear started selling at Selfridges in London. Thinx (BTWN), a brand new line of period undies specially made for tweens and teens, was introduced to the world. We launched the first national grassroots campaign between a menstrual hygiene company and nonprofit activists, United For Access. Kristen Bell and Busy Philipps gave us a glowing review on late night TV, and we’re still a teensy bit star-struck.

Not gonna lie, we're more than a li'l proud, but we sure couldn't have done it without you — so we wanted to share a by-the-numbers recap of what went down over here at Thinx HQ in 2018:

If you’ve tried Hi-Waist, you know why we’re obsessed.

Ooh la la!

And stick around for a whole new rainbow this upcoming year!

In 2018, we hosted a series of pop-ups to connect with you guys from all around the world, including and Berlin, London, Sydney, Toronto, Melbourne, as well as across the U.S. in Austin, Birmingham, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Portland, Miami, Minneapolis, and San Francisco.

It was so exciting to connect with our community, and we loved seeing which undies were the most popular in different cities. Sydney was *very* into our organic cotton Thinx, and Hi-Waist Icon.

We also expanded into premium retail, and began selling in Selfridges in the UK… and we have an exciting new retail partner lined up for 2019 in the US — don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated. For now, come visit us through February 28 at our *first* long-term pop-up shop down in SoHo, NYC. Stop by and say hi!

In addition to our new digs, 29 team members moved in — if you think that’s a whole lot of names to learn, you’re right. That’s why we’ve also hosted 29 Wine Club Wednesdays to get to know each other a bit better.

We were also lucky enough to welcome one baby girl this year, and we have 4 more Thinx moms due in 2019!

...Don’t worry, you didn’t miss your chance to sign, too!

We were also humbled to receive recognition by Inc’s list of fastest growing private companies, CNBC’s Top 50 most disruptive companies of 2018, and as a best new tech gadget for women from Women’s Health.

From everyone here at Thinx Inc., thank you for your continued support. We can't wait to see what 2019 is gonna bring! (I hear sesame milk might be the new oat. Stay tuned.)
