In the US, Black women are facing a complex and concerning maternal health crisis. Compared to white women,  they have a threefold higher maternal mortality rate. Family planning is full of experiences shared by many, but the outcomes can vary drastically — especially if they’re unable to access quality health care. 

To help address this inequality, Thinx is honored to be a founding member of the MEternal platform, an initiative led by Thinx and iHeartRadio New York that drives awareness and provides key resources related to maternal care for people of color. In addition to the platform, Thinx will be running a 1 Purchased = 1 Donated donation program through the end of 2022!

Thinx will donate one pair of underwear for every pair purchased to various organizations that connect those in need to reproductive health care. In addition to having access, we believe people should have options, too. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution to life’s leaks — especially postpartum. Thanks to you, we’re able to continue delivering on our mission. Every time you purchase a pair, you’re purchasing with purpose.
